Have you ever looked at things around you? In a proper and meaningful way, and thought “Wow, that’s really cool, I wish I had made that”?

This type hunt however has showed me the way, brought about a moment of clarity, and now I know that if I really want to make some good piece of design I need to first start looking around me to see what has come before and to build a catalogue of images that I want to use as a reference. Seeing other peoples posts online as they found another great typographic image allowed you to work harder, trying to find something better than what you and they had done before; some ideas like this are great to bring into the studio so that you can be inspired to do better work.
