Penguin Book Cover

This year will be based on A Clockwork Orange, a well renowned book and film for its strong themes of violence and social conditioning. From watching the film I can gather that the ultra violence explained in the book is brought to life through cold dark comedy and a strong colour palette.
From what I have looked at so far I have a rough idea of having dual layered imagery, using each side of the cover to create something that explores the themes of voyeurism and restriction of free will. I may also look at alternative ideas that explore the motifs that are commonly used in many of the book covers, which a twist to keep the, from staying stagnant.
